Why this exists

You are not a beginner

You have listened to the podcasts. You could probably explain a funnel to someone else. What you have not done is written the email, sent the outreach, rewritten the home page, or picked the niche.

That is not a knowledge problem, and another course will not fix it. It took one clinician I work with four years to update her website and two years to send a first email. Not because she did not know how. Because nobody was waiting for it, and because there was no one to tell her whether it was good enough to send.

This is six weeks of both.

My business was inconsistent and growth felt unpredictable despite getting support from other marketing professionals. I knew I wanted to grow but I had no real strategy to get there. Mila Arsenijevic, Toronto Therapy Practice

The shape of it

Runs
20 Oct to 1 Dec
Live sessions
Weekly, 90 min
Your time
~2.5 hrs a week
Group size
Five, hard cap

One live session a week, ninety minutes, same day and time throughout. Every week has one thing to produce and it gets reviewed. You send it, I mark it up, you send it again. Five people means everyone's work gets looked at properly rather than in theory.

Between sessions there is a channel where you can put a draft up and get an answer within a day. You also get the positioning and thought leadership workbooks I use with one to one clients, which are yours to keep.

Six weeks

What gets built

01

Position

Niche and value proposition, including what to do when you hold two or three focus areas and can't choose.

A focus you can defend, and one sentence that says what you do

02

Write

Website copy that reaches the person reading it, plus proof that works when testimonials are prohibited.

A rewritten first screen and a proof stack behind it

03

Connect

Referral and strategic partners. Who to approach, what to say, and what asset to send afterwards.

Three approaches sent, and something worth sending

04

Capture

Lead magnet and email. What to offer, how often to write, and how to segment without overthinking it.

A magnet live and the first email written

05

Be found

SEO, AI search and Google, plus how to vet a provider so you stop getting burned.

Your listings fixed and a provider you can actually assess

06

Sustain

Content and workshops, and the plan for the six months after this ends.

A 90 day plan you will follow, because you wrote it

Fit

Who this is for

Join if

  • You have been in practice a while and understand your business reasonably well
  • The gap is execution rather than education
  • Something has been on your list long enough to be embarrassing
  • You want someone to tell you the truth about the work, not just cheer
  • You have about two and a half hours a week for six weeks

Please don't join if

  • You are still deciding whether to open a practice
  • You want someone to run this for you. This is six weeks of your own work with a marketer sitting next to it
  • You are hoping for a tactic that skips the positioning
  • The six weeks are genuinely full. Take the next cohort instead

a wrong-fit person in a group of five costs everyone. i'd rather talk you out of it.

A fair question

Why me, and not a therapist who coaches

I am not a therapist. I have spent fifteen years building marketing for technology companies, fintech and healthcare, where the budgets are large and the standard is high. What I do here is take what works there and strip it down to something a solo practice can actually run on two and a half hours a week.

You are getting a marketer who happens to work with therapists, rather than a therapist who learned marketing. Both are useful. They are not the same thing, and you should pick deliberately.

Anita has worked with therapists, so she understands the limitations and restrictions that we are bound by. At the same time, she brings in strategies that have been proven to work in many other industries, strategies that we might otherwise feel are too risky or too outside the box to even entertain. The constraint this is built around

Compliant by design

Your college prohibits testimonials. It treats a star rating as a testimonial, and a "best of" badge as a testimonial, and it doesn't let you reshare a review a client posted on their own. It also requires verifiable training for anything you advertise.

Most marketing programs would have you break three of those rules by week two. This one was designed from them, so the position you build is one you can actually defend.

check anything specific with your own regulator. i know the shape, not every college.

Anita doesn't just give you more marketing things to do

Sometimes you can read all the books and know what you should be doing, but still not actually take action.

She doesn't just hand you a marketing strategy and leave you to figure it out. She builds it with you, then works alongside you step by step to actually implement it.
